Hi, List,
I read the RFC 3265 on SUBSCRIBE /NOTIFY method, but I CANNOT find the
definition of the EVENTS. Is it the application's responsibility to define
the EVENTS?

Dear Paul,
Thank u for your help.We inserted the DTMF into the RTP audio stream
(G.7231). The packets r often lost.
Many people recommend using RFC 2833 . But I wonder how RFC 2833 can insure
the reliability transport of DTMF events.I cannot get much from the RFC
2833.

Jade

Hi,
when a UA wants to registrate to a registration server, it sends the
REGISTER request to the server. The server accepts the request at first.
After sometime, the server finds that the UA should be cancelled for some

Hi,
we use RTP to carry the DTMF , but we found that it was not reliable . We
want to use INFO to carry the DTMF message, but I am not sure if the RFC
2976 is obsolete since RFC 2543 is replaced by RFC 3261?
or can anyone give me other solutions on this problem.

Suppose the following scenario ,
UAC doesnot send the body in the INVITE message, and UAS sends the 200 OK

UAC should send the ACK for the 200 OK.
what will the UAC do next?send BYE request , re-invite

Hi, List,
I have some doubts in responding the REGISTER request. In the RFC 3261 ,
10.3 , it says
When receiving a REGISTER request , a registrar follows these steps
1.the registrar inspects the Request-URI to determine whether it
has access to bindings for the domain identified in the
, the registration has an expiration time. If the UA
fails to refresh the registration before the expiration time, the server
forgets the registration - concluding the UA is no longer present or alive.
