Hi,
I am not too sure about this but can you check the syntax of the from
and the to header fields in your invite,is nested addr-spec allowed in
rfc 2822,because once the local and the domain address are both resolved
can the parser continue parsing another nested angled bracket?

Hi Guys,
I am trying to make a call from a soft phone to a physical phone and for
some reason the PBX responds with 400 Bad Request for the Invite generated
by the soft phone. I have no idea whether the Invite violates any SIP ABNF.
Below are the SIP messages both Invite and 400 Bad request. Any h
I believe that we have discovered that the RFC 3261 grammar allows
whitespace at the end of (almost) no headers. But people expect that
parsers will accept (linear) whitespace at the end of all headers.

482 is used for "Loop Detected" (this request has passed through this
proxy before) and "Merged Request" (a copy of this r
Aren't these best discussed on the Kamailio mailing list?

A callee capability of "isfocus" on the contact header field of the far
end tells you that it is a conference focus. E.g.
Contact: sip:al...@atlanta.example.com;isfocus

I agree with Dale. In addition, having the UAC do it this way makes the
downstream behavior the same whether the recursion on the 300 is done by
the UAC or by a proxy on the path.

Hi
We had to modify our SIP client to connect to Asterisk because it was
putting a space character at the end of the WWW-Authenticate field value:
our client was sending:
WWW-Authenticate: Digest algorithm=MD5, realm="asterisk", nonce="11cf20a3"
[SPACE][CRLF]
instead of:
WWW-Authenticate: Digest

or should we expect 5xx 'loop detected' ?
Thanks
