Hello, As P-CSCF does not maintain any data regarding GRUU during registration. When P-CSCF receives an INVITE request and its Con tact header contains only temp-gruu. How the P-CSCF will process that request?? How P-CSCF will relate that  request to Registration data ? Regards Meena

OK let me clarify my doubt by giving you an example. A UE wants to get its gruu wrt its impu that is cal...@example.com . In the REGISTER request its conatct header will look like Contact: callee@ ;+sip.instance="" and the registrar will send gruu in 200 OK response. so the 200 OK respon

Meena, GRUU's can be used as a URI in contact. So if you are using a pub-gruu in contact then it will have Registred SIP URI as part of it. If temp-gruu is used the contact will have only a cryptic uri and do not have anything related to registred sip URI. Ex: Foolowing the gruu's what we reci
