As part of implementing RFC 3959 (early session) I am trying to
understand what interactions this feature has with preconditions as
described in RFC 3312. RFC just mentions and provides a reference to RFC
3312 but does not provide any details.

Please provide directions and sample message flows for implementing
early-session(RFC-3959) with precondition(RFC-3311) enabled.
If 183 contains Require: precondition is this applicable for
Early-session also? If applicable please provide some message flows for
the same.
