I retooled top-level makefiles to build only the projects that have changed since they were last built. No new real things you need to know, you should just see much faster build times. 1 hour can now be .5 seconds.
I still need to do this for rpms, this only works four source right now. I ultimately really needed this for building rpms but source was better place to start. If you see any problems, let me now.
