Did you backup 3.8 before upgrading it?
I would first suggest the issue might be the DB.I'm not sure you can upgrade
3.8 DB schema to 3.11. Maybe to 3.10, but not 3.11. Did you make sure postgres
didn't know about your databases before starting over? I'm not the expert on

Agree with Tony... I usually do both of these settings as well. I
believe the Audio Persistence is an American with Disabilities Act
mandate though, so you might want to check before you ship that way.
