We would probably switch to Fedora 10 pretty soon. Couple of developers are
running it but there is no active bu

Hi Chris,
A blank mappingRules.externalRulesFileName shouldn't cause a problem.
Can you set the RLS and Proxy log levels to debug, make some calls that
you don't get BLF for, take a Snapshot, and open a JIRA issue?
Thanks.

Damian,
Sorry if I have been using the wrong list. I am still getting
the same error. Do you think that my CentOS system is caching the
dependency list. When I do a yum remove sipxecs it states that there is
nothing to remove. When I do a yum install sipxecs it still fails with

The message may be related to your problem, but then, it may be
coincidental. It seems to happen on other people's systems, and nothing

Dale,
I read this post and it doesn't really say how to fix it. The problem I have
is that my phones keep on registering then I have to reboot to recover the
phones.
If I didn't have to reboot it wouldn't be a big deal. But since I do have to
reboot this is an issue for me.
Thanks

Hi all,
Is there a way somebody can help me get a SIP firmware for tadiran T208M phones
so that I can register it with SIPX? I have been looking for this for a long
time but all efforts have proved futile. Not even the manufactures.
Also, I tried using planet phones that do not re-register when

Hi,
I keep on seeing my phones go to registering. Then when I go to my server I
see this message:
INIT: version 2.86 reloading
After that I need to reboot my SipXecs server in order to my phones to register.
Has anybody seen this message before?
Thanks

Some good news for those anticipating the NAT Traversal and SIP Trunking
features of sipXecs 4.0...
Our goal was to be able to support 25 simultaneous calls (roughly the
equivalent of a T1 interface) through the packet relay that makes NAT
traversal possible. That component has been stable for so

Well, if any device knows a sip userid (extension), sip domain, and the
sip password it will be able to register.
You would need to do something with a firewall or access list ahead of
the sipX pbx to block unwanted traffic. (firewall of course needs to be
SIP aware).

Ranga - I simply pointed out the "number of connections" you indicated
sipxbridge was designed to handle originally (I think you stated 25 or so). I'm
glad it looks like it could handle more. Could you provide a more detailed
expectation on the wiki to clarify this?

Hi Picher,
Question is:
I deals in wifi modem.
I have a scenario where lots of ip phone will be connected by my wifi

When a IP phone from my Access point try to register itself with my

Did you check to see how the PBX is configured? From the Admin screen,
System->Domain, make sure the domain name has your FQDN, reboot and then
you may need to delete / recreate your users (there's another way to
deal with this stuck in the wiki somewhere).
Also, once you do this you should pr
