Hi All,
Does anyone know the proper way to configure a Polycom 650 IP phone as
an Attendant Console?
I am not familiar with doing this and I am more or less trying to do
this as all internal dialing and want to simulate an attendant console
but without anything coming from the PSTN.

Ranga,
Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I didn't find enough time today to
try it out. Actually, I am able to see inbound RTP packets from the
ITSP.
I think it has to be something with the "inbound calls destination"
setting. Will try one of the two options you suggested and let you
know.
Thanks

Hi,
I reloaded 3.10.1 and was able to get my Siemens Optipoint 410 advance phones
to work with the Polycomm Soundpoint IP 600/601 v2.0 Phone configuration.
Then I said lets upgrade to 3.11.9 and do the exact same configuration. After
upgrading to 3.11.9 when I make a call from extension 300 to e

2) Proxy - 216.246.105.146
3) Domain - 216.246.105.146 ( chicago-1a.vtnoc.net )

Hi Massimo,
I'm looking at setting up something very similar, and want to get a 4960
to link to my various HiComs using E1 links. The bigger cost will be
the card that needs to be installed in the HiCom. I plan to get a block
of DDI extension numbers routed to my Patton/SipX from the HiCom so
My experience with AudioCodes M600 and M2000 is quite ok.
I also did not have problems with AudioCodes MP118 fxs.
But I did not try their fxo models...

Actually I have six Patton Smartnode 4960 with Q.SIG license connected
to six Siemens Hicom/Hipath PBXs through E1 connections, plus a Patton
Smartnode 4960 connected to the PSTN via an ISDN PRI.
Everything works well.
Hope this helps,
Max
