[sipx-users] Query registrations from Linux console on 4.6

2013-01-08 Thread Jan Fricke
Hi, until 4.4 I could grep /var/sipxdata/sipdb/registration.xml to get information about the phone registrations from a bash script. What is the easiest way to do that in 4.6? Thanks… _ Jan Fricke (B.Sc.) *IANT - APPLIED NGN-TECHNOLOGIES **Turn-Key VoIP/UC

[sipx-users] Certain calls failing (not sipx related exactly)

2013-01-08 Thread mike
In fact, it’s likely not sipx related at all but I figured I’d ask here. We get complaints now and then that certain calls never work. One good example would be when people post stuff on Craigslist and that CL complains that certain voip numbers don’t work. In fact, it is looking like most

If it matters, this is a postgres complaint. I think you would do well to try to restart CDR and if that doesnt clear it up dig into the postgres forums. I would suggest if a lot fo your calling behavior consists of forwards then it is likely a duplicate call id might try to store and postgres

This is toll capacity related. Certain localities (LEC's) can charge a premium to land calls in their market space. As a result carriers reduce their call capacity to these areas. This results in calls that just wont compete based on the cost routing from your ITSP. For example, I have always

This is toll capacity related. For example, I have always seen issues making calls to certain exchanges in Minnesota using carrier xyz, but it always works from my cell phone. In this case, AZ numbers are having the same problem, both with voip.ms and flowroute. Not at all sipx related. Get

Not at all sipx related. Get thee to a carrier who has better peering for toll calls or suffer silently. BTW, one interesting reason I read about was that supposedly CL doesn't like 'free email' accounts. Guess I'll have to test that by posting something and using one of the voip DID's

[sipx-users] sipXproxy log issue

Hi all, The sipX server we put in for a non-profit with only a couple of users is using the latest 4.6. We have a problem with every ~week or so some services going down: sipproxy and sipxsupervisor, requiring a sipXecs restart. I've noticed that the sipXproxy.log continually adds lines, as per

Hello, We have implemented a click to dial feature on our CRM using the sipX Call Control Web Service. A user clicks on the number in a record, their Polycom 335 phone rings and they answer it by picking up the handset to be connected to the dialled number. This works well when used with a
