Hi Folks,

should anyone interested to run advanced/more flexible reports with
Jasper Server please take a look at how it integrates with OpenNMS:
http://www.opennms.org/wiki/JasperServer_Integration - basically would
be another entity that connects directly to CDR database and generates
reports.

JasperServer comes with its own admin interface, can be integrated
with other web applications via web services API -
http://jasperforge.org/plugins/mwiki/index.php/Jasperserver/WebServices,
supports uploading templates at runtime and e-mail notification, can
run on dedicated server if needed so report processing and calculation
are moved away from sipX side, etc.)
A detailed JasperServer UI description here:
http://jasperserver.sourceforge.net/docs/3-5-0/JasperServer-User-Guide.pdf
Community edition licensed under GPLv2:
http://jasperforge.org/plugins/mwiki/index.php/Jasperserver/License

This is not supposed to replace the current sipXconfig integration
with Jasper Reports for the moment but would like to get some feedback
if anyone likes the idea / tries it.

George
