well, i just tested it (to make sure) with my patton fxo gateway and
it works (4.2 firmware)... i have to say that i've never run into this
problem, not even with the terrible grandstream gateways i was using.

i'm a little confused here. are you saying that gateways cannot send
inbound calls to users? or just analog gateways? how can that
possibly be true (unless you are talking about the specific software
limitations of specific gateways)?

I have a specific application that requires me to bypass the autoattendant all
together, so calls are answered directly by the Operator. Could someone give
me a few pointers on how to do this?
