So before getting new hardware I attempted a 4.6 install
which worked without a problem. Now my only question is
under Features in the GUI the only thing that I see is the
Phonebook option. Did something go wrong with my install or
is that the only thing that I will see under Features in
4.6? If
In 4.6 you need to enable services you want to run
System/Servers
In 4.4 it was the opposite, we ran everything and you disabled things
you didn't want.

I checked my processor and I have an Intel Celeron. When I
checked the hardware requirements I see that I need either a
Pentium 4 or Xeon processor. I am going to try a similar
server with a different processor and see if I can load the
software.
I am trying to do a new install of SipXecs 4.4. I am trying
to install from an ISO CD and when I run the setup I get an
error that says Error downloading kickstart file and it
asks me modify the kickstart parameter or proceed as an
interactive installation. None of the options seems to get

make sure only one nic is enabled.
if it is still fighting you, you might want to do a CentOS 5.x 64 bit
minimal install, and then use the RPM installation method.

I tend to think its a basic Linux install issue with your server hardware.
If you choose to do the minimal install consider doing it from the network
if you have sufficient bandwidth.
Did you query the Google oracle for its wisdom in these matters as it
relates to you hardware platform?
