It's automatic. As you add lines and speed dials to the phone they will
"spill over" to the expansion console. No extra configuration is required.

In a PBS system with no changes in progress, aliases should work as well
as the base username. But BLF indication for usernames

Starting with 4.0.1 (15779 - not released yet) sipXconfig will
automatically replace the alias with username so users won't have to worry
about it.

I don't think so, none of the other models have those red lights. How do I
check that sipXecs is sending the indication that the users are
available/unavailable?

module are also pointing to the primary registration for BLF. What else is
required for the expansion module to be populated?
