Hi, I was having a discussion with the sipXecs configuration team on the configuration of SBC/ITSP trunks. In an effort to simplify this further there was a suggestion for the page: Gateways / Add new gateway / SIP trunk We would like to make the SBC Route into a simple drop-down list, e.g. None sipXbridge-1 unmananagedSBC-1 This would allow us to default the SBC Route to the first Internal SBC (e.g. sipXbridge-1) rather than the current setting of no SBC. However this would remove the current "Create new SBC" entry from the drop-down list.
So our question is: does anyone currently use the Unmanaged SBC configuration in sipXecs? Or in practice are external SBCs configured as either Unmanaged Gateways or direct SIP Trunks (with no SBC Route configured)? Thanks for your feedback...
