I have some Polycom IP335s that have loaded the Polycom Productivity
Suite license successfully.

Is there a place in SipXecs SipXconfig where RTCP-XR packet generation
on Polycom phones can be enabled? I haven't found one.

If not is there a preferred process to toggle the appropriate attribute
in the configuration files?

The 3.2.3 Polycom SIP CFG file has a section to enable RTCP-XR.

<voice>

 ...

  <quality monitoring>

  ...

     <rtcpxr

        voice.qualityMonitoring.enable.rtcpxr="0" (Enables generation of
RTCP-XR packets. 0,1 Default is "0".)

      />

  </quality monitoring>

</voice>

I can certainly edit sip.cfg in the zip file setting the above attribute
to "1".

The other alternative is edits to the 000000000000.cfg (again in the
Polycom zip file) and add a small .cfg file to the list with the above
attribute set to "1". But wouldn't the Polycom sip cfg over-ride?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated?

Don McIlvin
