Thats exactly what the Enable NAT traversal does. When its enabled, it anchors media that is outside its local subnet and then re-writes the sip packet with its external IP to keep the media anchored. This is preformed by sipxrelay. So when you have it disabled, the proxy does NOT use the

I get that, but I would expect the SDP to be re-written to direct the rtp streams with or without anchoring. But what I see is that sipxProxy changes the Via field which will affect how the SIP signalling is sent. That is what seems strange to me. On Thu, Sep 6, 2012 at 4:02 PM, Matt White
