I think it's version 3.2, just down loaded it a week or so ago.
Yes the 3c905b supports PXE.if the ROM is installed. It's a
socketted board but with out the chip.
I did download from ROM-O-MATIC.org a close board boot image
it now seems to work.

Which version of SystemImager are you using? And doesn't the 3c905b
support PXE-boot?
I think there are some network floppy disks you can d/l which can mimic
PXE-boot - I know they exist, but I haven't tried them myself, perhaps
you can look into that...

trouble is that these nodes typically do not have cd-drives
What about rom-o-matic boot disks. Or even older versions of SI
boot disks.. If I could find something
close to the 3c905b-txnm cards?
Thanks

Hi Marc:
Try making a CD instead of a floppy - I believe the newer kernels cannot
fit in a floppy.

I'm using a newer version of SI and trying to
create a boot floppy. The OS is FC-3
When I check the diskete seems full.
error message:
Couldn't copy /etc/systemimager/pxelinux.cfg/message
to /tmp/.autoinstalldiskette.18778!
Any idea other than installing a NIC with a boot prom?
Thank You,
