I have been using 'make_binaries'. I am not setting any options with make,
or at least not that I know of. make_binaries seems to run for a while then
finally bomb out. I get the same result with 3.20, 3.22, or 3.30 on 2
different servers. (RHEL3.0+patches, RH7.2+patches).
