I'm on a new macbook running Skim 1.4. When I try to export a pdf with embedded noted I get this error: The document "test.pdf" could not be exported as "test". Any thoughts? I've tried playing with the file name and directories but no success. Thanks -

I noticed that one of the changes in the last release or so of Skim is to open .ps files with the wrong extension, or vice-versa, I'm not sure which. Could a similar fix be made to open files with the extension "fdf" that are really "pdf" files? Springer's manuscipts for reviewers are pdf's
