bit encodings?
Can you get that uid (just the uid) into a file so that it can be checked?

extra disk at /var/lib/sks?
/etc/sks is tiny and /var/log/sks is also reasonably small.
Only /var/lib/sks is large and under heavy load.
You could use a symlink from /var/log/sks to /var/lib/sks/log to get the
logs also onto your extra disk, but I wouldn't bother.

S we can see this:
KG> keys.gnupg.net CNAME pool.sks-keyservers.net
Certificates are available for hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net, making
requests to http://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net work.
Are certs available for keys.gnupg.net?
Or are we expected to offer self-signed certs for tls requests
My vendor is moving to a new datacenter Saturday, in a different city,
so keys.jhcloos.com will be down starting aroung 21:00 UTC for up to
16 hours.

I have a full backup of the server and a new instance.
It will take another day or so to get it working and verified.

Just in case any of the direct mails fail:
Eagle.jhcloos.com has been down due to issues with my vendor.
In light of that, I brought up a new sks instance.
Please replace eagle.jhcloos.com with:
keys.jhcloos.com 11370 # James Cloos 0xED7DAEA6
.
1.1.4 from experimental will not install on top of wheezy.
Given the known problems with deb's 1.1.3, I'm reluctant to spend time
trying that version.
Until I get this sorted, eagle.jhcloos.com is down.

db_recover does not help.
Is there any way to fix this other than importing a new dump?
I'm running deb's compile from experimental on a sid vm.
