I have a working Vulkan SDK SlackBuild that I'd be interested in
reworking into something suitable for SBo. What I have is here:
https://github.com/duganchen/my_slackbuilds/blob/master/vulkansdk.SlackBuild
Where I got stuck is that the download links for the Vulkan SDK are

Hi, Asaf,
About a month ago Vincent Batts, the current maintainer of Docker
SlackBuild, wrote[0] in slackbuilds-users mailing list that he was
giving away ownership of this build script to you, but you haven't
followed to date.
Are you still interested in taking over this script? I'm asking
Thank you, David. I realized just know that you corrected it.

Further, the ganttproject.SlackBuild script can handle both names with
tags and without tags i.e. whether it is ganttproject-2.8.3.tar.gz or
ganttproject-ganttproject-2.8.3.tar.gz.

https://github.com/bardsoftware/ganttproject/archive/ganttproject-2.8.3.tar.gz
I modified the link in the ganttproject.info file as above and have
already submitted the updated SlackBuild.

Actually what you are trying to download is the link where the file
resides, not the file itself. It is something similar to the sourceforge
download links on SlackBuilds.org.
The problem is that "wget" assumes that the link points directly to the
file itself. I have found the correct
