BTW, I found the issue with the build failures, it has a nasty tendency to
choke on parallel make jobs, so I had to force -j1. It now builds on both
32 and 64 bit.

That file is for openssl version 3 which was added to current. There is
also /usr/lib64/libnvidia-pkcs11.so which uses the older openssl 1.1. Here
is the excerpt from the README.txt (in the section "installed components"):

Here is what I have found. The checksum error comes from the new zlib
1.2.12, which may have fixed the problem in 1.2.11 but I suspect badly
broke something else. Adding --disable-system-zlib to the icedtea
configure parameters takes care of that.
As for the libstdc++ library linking issue on 32-
Since openjdk6 and 7 can no longer be built at this time, I would have to
say drop them for now. openjdk8 can be built if you have zulu-openjdk7
installed and adjust BOOT_JAVA to point to /usr/lib(64)/zulu-openjdk7 in
the script.

I was able to build it both with 'su' and 'su -', but i did notice it threw
warnings (NOT errors) about gcc being too old. This is on a clean 14.2
install partition (not a vm). Hope this helps.

I was looking at why gcc5 would no longer build in -current, and looking at
the build log I realized it was trying to link against the isl library
recently added. Since that library isn't in 14.2 I simply added
'--without-isl' to the configure parameters and it built without a problem.

Just a heads up to everyone who uses Gnucash on -current, the new glib2
broke the build using the script from 14.2/master. The fix is simple - put
these two lines before the cmake command:
export CC=clang
export CXX=clang++
This will be addressed in SBo when 15.0 is released.

I just submitted the new script for gnucash-2.6.20. I found why the
--enable-python parameter broke the build - there were 4 files in
src/optional/python-bindings that somehow got lost between 2.6.19 and
2.6.20. I included those files in a 'missing-py' folder, to copy over
