That is exactly how Webdav/slide works. Nothing to implement, just download
and go. Download the latest release and run it under Tomcat ( I believe
that is in the distribution). And you should be done with all of the
requirements you have listed.

We have had no problems using Word to do this. We use both IE and WebDrive
to get to the server, and no problems at all with Word.
