apologies to derivative. actually, we
have another name in mind for it, but
we can't reveal that yet.
anyways, jim and i don't have our
proposed venue for a sloan net get-together
nailed down yet, but never fear, we *are*
in fact organizing such a thing. i got
a plaintive plea from d'arcy today that
made me decide to get moving on this.
we propose a supper-hour thing either
on wednesday oct 11 or thursday oct 12.
could people please respond to me by
*private* email and tell me their
preference? thanks.
(i personally think wednesday is good,
the sooner the better. but maybe some
people aren't showing up until thursday.)
