I use this drive as a storage drive as the machine is dual boot Windows NT 4 (NTFS),
and Mandrake 8.1 (EXT3) because fat is read-writeable from both OSes.

I am after a library that implements FTP in a manner which makes it
accessible to C code. Specifically, it would be very cool if I could
connect to an FTP server (providing user name and password), and download
files and get directory listings.

I recently installed SuSE 7.3 on my computer, which also has an HP LaserJet
1100 printer connected to it. Printer is supported and works well, except if
the printers internal memory is below 4MB (I think) then you can only print
at 300 dpi.

I want to install KDE 2.2 which I have from a CDROM. I understand that the best option to do so is by using the command line. Now, the KDE directory contains 32 individual rpm files. Does that mean
