Just installed the enlightenment rpms (for RH9) from SourceForge.
However, I can't seem to be able to find what configuration file I need
to change to add enlightement to the list of available window managers
for the gdm graphical login...
All help appreciated...

I've had some problems with gnome and evolution. I managed to fix gnome,
but evolution seems to be having problems across all users.
Evolution quits on startup with the error: Unable to initialize evolution
shell.

Okay, these ones aren't hurting you, but they mean your widgets will look
like poo. You need to install the industrial theme engine package for your
distro (on Debian, it's gtk2-engines-industrial).

Not too sure that many minimal systems have samba installed, why wouldn't
you use a hard disk... the main reason for using CF and flash is to remove
any spinning parts and save power in a box that sits doing a job, file
sharing needs disks so why not use disks?
