Hi All,
I have just installed gaim-gnome, and I am getting the following error
when I try and run it...
** WARNING **: Cannot activate a panel object
** WARNING **: Cannot start CORBA
I then get a segfault...
any ideas?

Are you running a gnome-panel? Are you using a 1.x version of Gaim with
G
Hrm,
I have no trouble with it (i installed the 'gaim' package in gnome 1.4
-- which is now 2.0).
Maybe try apt-get update ; apt-get upgrade?
