Hi everyone, Trying to run Ubuntu Live CD on my IBM 600x laptop - 256MB Ram, 11 GB HDD. After initialising the Live install, i remember getting a message on screen along the lines " Cannot handle KERNEL (0) at address...." Then few more lines appear, before everything stops at line :
<0> Kernel panic : Trying to kill init I've tried few different Ubuntu CDs with same result. Incidently, i tried running SuSE 9.1 Live CD and it never loads the window manager, the LCD seems to be having "a fit". However Knoppix 3.3 works fine. Can anyone help out please ?
