Thanks Matthew, I got phpmyadmin 2x working but when I did the restore of a mysql db nothing was restored!!! I'm not a mysql guru at the moment so pain in the ass... I'll have to live with losing a site unless I try to delve into what the backup got or not and why... sometimes it's just

Hi all, Im trying to install phpmydmin but going into it, it says it requires php 5.3+ I'm using centos 5.3 which comes with php 5.1xxx. So I've tried to use an earlier version of phpmyadmin but there are problems there. And it's an old version. So I'm now trying to upgrade php with yum.
