I've dropped the idea of mythtv etc. A friend introduced me to his topfield personal video recorder (PVR), and have decided to purchase one of these later in the year. It has dual SD tuners and 120gb drive. So I can record 2 channels at once and still play something back It has a USB connection so

What I have is mythtv running on Mandrake. Reason for this was to get something off the ground and running quickly. I am yet to setup mythtv for myself, hopefully in about 3 weeks time when my hdtv card is purchased. In the meantime I have played around with a friends mythtv setup and the web interface he has is quite nice. This feature alone has interested me. I am yet to see how else you work with it. On Fr
