How can I check the version of frameworkd in debian on freerunnner?
I am not using zhone, but a custom java app that uses
dbus java interface to comunicate with frameworkd/fso
Should I first test with zhone to exclude a java dbus interface
problem?

Don't think so.
Qt's raise() works with any window manager. I believe that it just maps to
XconfigureWindo
