If you get a media player/Network Attached Storage box, chances are it won't
also support Time Machine backups unless it's a synology box, which are quite
expensive but well worth it :

I've reached the end with my old Time Capsule which is now too small for my
backups. Was thinking of trying to get a terrabyte sized hard drive which might
connect with a wireless DVD player too and thus enhance my TV watching
experience too? Is this realistic? Any recommendations?
