I'm sad to hear the pages mac-ipad compatiblilty thing is still the case.
I attempted to fill in an invoice I created in pages on the mac - simple
freelancer thing with a little spreadsheet-table in the middle that added
up hours, and the ipad wasn't compatible with it. This was years ago back

I think Tony's right about the iWork and iCloud. However, I'm increasingly
looking at Markdown as a way of producing good looking documents that are
portable across many devices - primarily using ByWord.
