Howdy,
I'm moving to somewhere that is without electric and also very sunny. Anyone
had any experience with solar chargers, ideally for Macbook and iPhone but just
iPhone will do for now, any recs guys?
Also off topic but we need some lighting too and I've been looking at garden
solar powered
Going a bit nuts with what should be simple. Various pdfs have ended up
in my iBooks app on iPad. I want to remove them from wherever iTunes
stores them (and from the iTunes library) but I can't actually find them
anywhere in iTunes. I can see them in the iPad Books tab but that only
pertains t
Thanks Sam. I don't think I ever had it enabled actually (on my Apple equipped
2012 MBA with an SSD). But I dragged the app back out of the trash to check and
have rebooted and emptied the Trash.

Trim enable itself does nothing more than patch a system kernel extension to
enable trim on unsupported (non apple) SSDs. You might need to switch it off
within the app to restore that kext back to normal

While I opened Appzapper and dragged the Trim Enabler app from the Applications
folder onto the Appzapper window and its gone. Will that be a problem? Maybe I
could always download it again and disable it?

Holding down the Alt key did allow me to see options, one of which was restore
from backup, this process is currently under way and is estimated to take 7
hours, we shall see.
Unfortunately, this will put Mountain Lion and all my old files back on the
machine, but at least I will b

Did you disable trim enabler from within the app? I forgot to mention it
replaces a kext so that may need to be replace and trim enabler turned off but
you can do all that within the app itself.

found that it slowed my machine down (noticeably) ...

and the OS partition of the hard drive available.

Try the hp printer drivers from the apple support website, then use image
capture to do the scanning, if that doesn't make a difference then the scanning

Anyone noticed any scanner issues with Mac 10.9 and HP Scan?
It work last working on the 10th of December on Mac 10.8, I upgraded to Mac
10.9 over Christmas and did another scan on the 6th of Janurary and just
discovered it's gray and smudged.
