Here¹s a useful link I found.

I installed an SSD into my MacPro (while I¹m saving my pennies for a new
MacPro) and copied the start-up disk to it using SuperDuper.

I discovered afterwards that the Recovery Partition is not copied at the
same time ­ apparently Carbon Copy Cloner will do that.

recovery partition for you on your chosen HD, you can even run it from the
HD where you want to create the Recovery Partition. It does need access to a
Mavericks installer (depending which version of the OS Recovery Partition
you need to install)
