And Aperture and iPhoto now share the same library so no importing is required, just use whichever does what you want. Aperture has great editing tools and images can be edited in something else if you need more power. I have 10,730 photos in Aperture with no problems at all. Stephen On 17 Dec

i have around 5000 pics in 2400 folders. I need to load them into something like iPhoto and be able to edit and add to the folders. iPhoto is continually crashing out on me with only a tiny fraction of those folders, is there anything out there that could do this and enable me to edit the pics (
