Does anyone have any advice about purchasing a new DVD player + hard- drive TV recorder? My old Sony DVD player/ hd recorder has hit the dust. There seem to be many many varieties of Blu-Ray, "wireless" network PC compatible devices out there, not to mention those with Smart & 3D features etc. etc. Humax? LG? Sony? Panasonic? I want to be able to watch all types of DVDs on the TV and to programme recording programmes on a hard drive. Is there a machine that would even function with my wireless network with an old iMac, IPad etc.?? Maybe even a Mac mini + Apple TV would be a possibility ???
