I think it might be possible to extend your network out wirelessly, I have
1 AE and used to have the bebox/o2 supplied router (probably the same as
yours) Like Sam says cross vendor wifi is difficult, because each wifi
network's settings have to be exactly the same, and neither the Apple or

You won't be able to extend a non-airport network with an airport base station,
it has to be two airport routers, at least I've never got it working
cross-manufacturer.
