With the current proposal with two men and no spike, I think there is still
the chance for being hurt or killed. Without a spike, it seems like it
would be more dangero

The Sagitta 600 fuse is too short for the 600.
I use a 900 glass fuse on my 600 and it's MUCH better.
No way I'd use a 600 fuse on a 900.

Leaving the plane turned on isn't great for your battery. But, it happens.
I've done several times. If the battery will take a charge and return to
nominal voltage (it usually will), you should be fine.
Your Alpha4 probably didn't like charging a battery with near zero volts. Many
chargers don't

Dreamcatcher sells a short kit for the Sagitta 900. Can I use my fuselage
for the 900?

That is very effective at getting line speed.
But that is also the problem. The towers are linear to the attached
devices. If any failure occurs the devices or line is launched straight at
one of the towers. What kind of damage will a hand tow reel do when it
