I ended up using just a single drop of CA in an area of the linkage that was
exposed...it seemed to do the trick. I know the CA/mircos trick works well too,
though. If it breaks loose again, I'll probably do that.
I was a bit impatient, though, and uesd non foam friendly CA. Haven't seen any
My bagged GENIE thermal competition ship has a 12 foot span, over 1200
squares and plenty of profile to see. Works great for us 80 year old
buzzards who aren't quite yet ready to quit this game. Had a great 30 minute
flight a week ago Sunday and never lost sight of it. Hawks kept the ship
company.
Homosote is a good material to pin into. Not too hard not to soft. Needs any
of the other suggested flat surfaces to be attached to.

Remember that Gavin got a 100 point penalty as well, which
will be deducted AFTER the throw outs :-(...

I assume you're talking about the built-up Allegro-Lite.
You could try to talk one of the Allegro-Lite Yahoogroup
members into selling
Green and yellow are the most visible at night - flashing reds are OK!
Much better are electrostatic lights - available from Tim Cone (NightOps)
and RC-Neon!
Not sure about the addresses ...

Does the design adapt to a full-flying stabilisator? Just mount it slightly
above the tailboom on a pivot. If that looks odd mount the wing on a pivot
instead!

If anyone is curious as to what Joe Wurts, Daryl Perkins,
et all will commonly do to "check" the CG of a plane when
you hand them the Transmitter; it's this...
They will trim straight and level at some reasonable "floaty"
speed, then roll inverted. If the plane continues happily or
climbs/descends
Matt,
IMHO, the stuff you really want to look for is called "Cerro-Bend".
It is almost as heavy as lead and it melts at temps lower than
boiling water, if memory serves. Don't have any other info.

Since I'm twice as old as Joe, I'm going for a plane that's twice as
big.

I would like to buy a simulator that I can drive with my JR 8103. I have
determined that the Ikarus EasyFly will do this and it is on sale for $50 now.
What about the Multiplex Cockpit Master? Any other sims to check out that will
work with the JR? Any comments on which is best or about their
Hi, you only need a new frequency module (and
receiver) if you are changing frequency bands, say from the 72MHz band to
35MHz. If you are changing from one 72MHz channel to another you only need to
change the crystals.
