I'd like to give a progress report on the Bird Of Time
fiberglass fuselage plug. I've got the first coat of
primer on and sanded down. I have a few hickeys to
work through and sand down and then another coat of
primer and some 400 grit wet sanding and it's on it's
way to the Old Buzzard hisself

It is possible to adapt the Spectrum frequency module to the 4000 and the
3030. If you are
interested in the details call Ernie Pritchard at (928) 474 2528.
They can also be modified to give both neg and pos frequency shift
capability with the
transmitters.

Spelling is nearly the only part of the chemistry of these things I know. The
first two aren't quite right:
isophthalic
orthophthalic
That phth group is pronounced like the unvoiced th, as in theraputic.
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any good photographs/articles of hollow composites
being built? I know of the Trinitus shots on www.f3j.dk and the Europhia
shots on the MRSSA site, but that's about it. The Soaring Stuff video is
great for generalities and basic techniques, but not really for layup
You don't need to use the 8103 with the camber and landing mode switched
on the stick. You can program the stick so it's always landing mode. Use
a switch for launch and for reflex and camber presets.
Using a slider for changing camber is definitely over rated. A fixed
camber and reflex setting
spit on it.

I just found out I'm moving to Geneva in a couple
months. Can I use my American Hitec Flash 5 and
Eclipse radios on 72mhz? What about my receivers
(555's)? Also if anyone has any good information on
flying sites around Geneva I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Gary

Hi Kevin,
Call the AMA, ask for RANDA, or Steve Kaluf, ask them to send you a forms
package.
As Far as the LSF site, the AMA has asked us to provide only a link, and
that they would post access to the forms at the link that they gave us..
Best of luck

A lot of the PSS guys use this stuff called Solartex. Very tough iron-on fabric that
takes primer and paint really well. Get the
white stuff and it'll stretch around corners like nothing else. Use some 3M 77 and
it'll stick well without bubbles. If you want

Here's another way to cover a balsa over foam wing that I have found works
quite well and does not seem to impose a weight penalty as with epoxy.
1. Use water based urethane finish. It goes on easy and produces a hard
surface. It can be painted or left natural. Some folks apply UltraKote or
