Oh, look at this. JT almost wins Visalia with old
technology, and he's trashing all his old glass ships.
Hmmm.
Does he know something we don't? ;-)

I thought I'd let you know that McCormick's gives great service. I
placed
a small web order and 2 days later it was on my door step.
Best selection of colors and styles I've seen anywhere.

Is there such a thing as an Eraser Xtreme x-tail w/full-carbon D-box wing?

I remember hearing about using RIT Dye for coloring epoxy in layups, but has
anyone else used water-based paints before?
I mixed up a test batch the other day with a very small amount of
water-based paint (a little goes a long way). The epoxy cured fine.
Some pigment from FiberLay mixed into

This causes me to ask; what do you think thermals the sweetest?
Within my limited gaggle of sailplanes, I'll have to say my Oly 99.
Big undercambered wings, big tail/tail moment, it's a great nostalgic
ride.

all day - every day.
OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER

Of course, CL afficionados would say the same about HLG: throw it, catch
it, throw it, catch it, , oops pick it up, throw it, ...
Or, perhaps that only shows that I still have a lot to learn when it comes
to flying my new Polecat XP 3.

Throw it, catch it - well I'd guess that hell has better thermals than that!
I've done both HLG and control line.
I'm sure many of us old farts here got started in CL.
No two HLG flights are the same.
Hard to say that about CL speed.
If hell holds in store days full of HLG - I'm ready!

Am I missing the word FLY in there somewhere? :-) Bill G.
OK, what about a Paragon with blade-type spoilers, is that too much? I know
it'd be RES legal, but is that beyond the scope of nostalgia mods?
thanks - I'm cutting ribs / formers, and I'm wondering if I finally have a
home for my old graupner spoilers

I didn't really like the paint-like pigments, but the powdered stuff is not
bad CST sells these, maybe check out this link:

I used the magenta, and it definitely adds color
good luck,
