Jim, I use a strip of stainless steel to drop the voltage on my winches for
speed control. This is much easier than pulsing. You could run a similar
strip of stainless in your drive circuit of your retriever. Try 1 wide,
.032 thick and about 18 long to start with. With a meter you could check

One method I've ehard being used to determine the CG on a new plane is to replicate
the plane in smaller scale with card stock or cardboard, and flight test the dummy
model with different cg's then transfer this tot he real model for first flight, just
to get it close in the range... this only
