I've been using 1650 mah packs from RadicalRC both in my transmitters and in
my planes. They work very well. According to RadicalRC these cells have a
history of reliability that the higher rated cells don't have. I've found
they give full capacity, charge up easy and discharge at a rate whi

Hi Edgar,
There is a Sanyo NiMH HR-3U that's 2300 mah. There is also an AP brand NiMH
cell AP-2300AAH that's 2300 mah. Both have button tops. I have not tried
either. http://www.batteriesamerica.com has them both. I'm pretty sure the
Sanyos are widely availabe.

I found 2,300 ma cells at a local independent camera store. $12.95 for a
4 pack. They are an off brand name, and I don't remember the ratings on
them. It's not a recommendation, just an option to consider.
