The first flights of my new Addiction were done Saturday afternoon in
12-15 mph winds. The first handlaunch required a little down elevator and
then encountered the first low, fast moving thermal. The temptation to stick
with it and see if it would fly away was surpressed
It was nearly a perfect day in Poway, CA for the First Semiannual 2 Meter
contest. The overnight temperature was about 60 with fog in the valleys in
the early morning. By contest start time at 9:00 the skies had cleared and
the thermal activity started.
The task was a 30 minute
FIRST SEMIANNUAL 2 METER CONTEST
Sunday, 11 June at the Poway flight center, Poway, CA.
30 Minute add'em up, 5 flights, no flight over 8 minutes.
5 points per second, 10 points per landing.
One class, all models welcome.
