To all involved, it was not my intention to create this fiasco. I was not trying to steal anything from Dodgson or Shawn. I simply wanted a set of plans from a designer I greatly admire. Since kits are impossible to come by I was hoping to find the next best thing. While the phrasing of the
I have noticed a few planes out there with jedelsky wings. How well do
these perform on small sailplanes or electrics? It seems like a super
simple way to build a plane fast.

I am going to be taking a late honeymoon down to south Texas at the end of

Would Dave not benefit from videos bought from
RadioCarbon Art? Surely he gets at least part of the revenue? RCA
allows purchase with credit card, which would be easier for some
people.

I noticed in several recent issues of QFI it says there is going to be a
review of the MPX Milan in the next issue. I don't recall ever seeing a
review in QFI. Did I miss and issue or did the review just disappear?
Conspiracy?

Answer is they are still here just the Flash off the molded planes blinds
some pilots to planes they would / should normally look at.
Amen. I have even seen guys recommend a relative newbie buy a molded/hitech

I was looking at the MPX Milan. Has anyone flown this plane? It appears to
have a very unique planform (sweepback?), how does it work?

A year or so I ago I ordered something fron Karlton. I promptly recieved
it, but it turn out to be the wrong thing. At the time he was in the middle
of shipping managers, so this was understandable. He sent my item to me
second day air (this prob cost $30 or so). He also appologised for the
Honestly, if the rest of the highstart is as good as the rubber it will be
worth the price. Consider what a winch costs. Their higstarts are as close
to a winch as any highstart will ever be. You probably can assemble a
highstart from their rubber cheaper than you can buy one. Of course, it
Is it me or is it hard to guess when the next Sailplane and Electric Modeler
will come out? I never know its out until someone on RCSE mentions errors
in it. The website is updated weeks after the latest issue hits the
newstands. Anybody know the secret issue release algorithm?
Does anyone out there have any suggestions for tripping the Quabeck 3/10
airfoil? I have a Wil Byers designed Core One. It has a rather nasty tip
stall (highly tapered wing) and I was wondering if there would be much
improvment by tripping it. Any suggestions where to place the trip?
Thanks-
Does anyone have experience with this Wil Byers design? It has a very
unique plan form and long T-tail. There were several of them flying on the
east coast a few years ago. Does anyone have any suggestions for trimming
one out? It sometimes acts "strange" and I wonder if this if just mine or
