Hi Bob . The trouble may be a thing called a "MIller Intergrator" It's a part of the MP-8000 encoder and works with the RF deck to shape pulses. I just purchased a FMA Direct RF Deck on Ch-08 ( ham) and the accompanying paper work mentions how to reset the Integrator. Maybe someone here on the Exc

Hi YK and y'all. I have an old Jaguar, car not sloper, and the maintenance manual recommends that the negative "earth" be disconnected before working on the electrical system. The theory is that any acccidental short to the chassis will not burn up the expensive stuff. I've had a battery blow up.
