The style looks more Dodgson / Maestro Megan than Renaud/ Aquila. And you
are right, the busy mechanicals smack of Dodgson as well.
The Maestro Megan's wingspan was 128", or 140" with wing tip extensions
(11' = 132"). It's fuselage was a fiberglass taco shell open on the top,

Brent,
There's no-fiber, short fiber, and long-fiber versions of Bondo. The
no-fiber is the creamy version you remember.
Bondo and the competitive polyester body fillers are all heavier than you
should use on a model aircraft. A mixture of epoxy and micro-balloons is

It's very similar to the old Airtronics unit, but shorter. But shorter
shouldn't really be an issue since the Airtronics part was much longer than
was needed.
Enjoy the Aquila.

ARF might be the answer.
What is the status of the Oly III ?

By choice, I prefer to fly larger planes. But sometimes circumstances
make it inconvenient to drag a large plane along, so it's nice to have a
smaller plane as well. I have a selection of planes with spans from 148"
down to 70", and when I'm flying I alway
