To add to Rob's comment, I like to tear down the control system on my
DLGs every couple hundred or so launches. I didn't do this in the
past, but the more I fly, the pickier I get about it. I find that as
time goes on, launch height and crispness of control on launch goes
away sometimes slow

without radio transmission, control tower intervention, or even the
common courtesy of a traffic pattern.

I will second the opinion that you need to keep the nose down. I
have not ROG'd but used to regularly winch up a LS-4 and it would
ALWAYS over rotate and drag the tail for a second or two. When it's
dragging the tail, you have to stand on the pedal which never gave me
a big warm and fuzzy.
I'm absolutely stumped. I have a pre-painted wing (Fusion) with
pinholes in the skin and I need to add a trim color but am afraid
to. I've tried a couple of rubbing compounds but the pinholes
appear to still be there. I think I've tested every filler and
primer under the sun trying to find
