We have to remember that the factory whip is pretty darn good. There are
limitations and it's not perfect. But doing better is harder than most
people realize. We should hold no misconceptions when something new comes
along.
This can be simplified to the length. On our R/C radios, if an antenna is

This comes up from time to time. A manufacturer who makes such a claim
has to be viewed with suspicion.
